Artificial/Synthetic Turf is a great alternative to the "real" thing. Especially in areas where grass just will not grow thick and lush like, under larger canopy trees, or where there is not sunlight. Although turf is not totally maintenance free it will add a year-round green look, use less water and stand up to hardy and rough conditions.
